When you have had painful experiences, especially in childhood, it becomes hard to move forward and get on with life.

You may also be noticing the impact of your past on your body: difficulty sleeping, upset stomach, headaches, or feeling constantly on edge.

I understand that the word “trauma” can sometimes be jarring; if you feel like your experience doesn’t meet some kind of standard for pain, you might discount it as “not serious enough.” But that fact is: if it felt traumatic, it was traumatic. And if you’re still experiencing the effects of it today, therapy can be a powerful tool to help you move forward.
HOW IT WORKS
I specialize in working with a variety of different kinds of trauma. Holistic Trauma Therapy consists of three stages: Rapport, Process, & Integration.
STAGE 01: RAPPORT
Focuses on resourcing, assessing the environment, and evaluating current function. The goal of Stage 1 is to build rapport and trust so that difficult topics may then be fully processed.
STAGE 02: PROCESS
Focuses on processing traumatic memories. I utilize top-down, bottom-up, and inside-out therapy methods to process the memory through all channels, minimizing the impact of the trauma on your holistic self.
STAGE 03: INTEGRATION
Focuses on integrating what was learned and moving to integrating you with your future goals and aspirations. This stage focuses on “how to move forward from here.”

Yes. I do have clients that choose to see me more frequently. It is ok to ask for extra support when you need it.

Yes. I have extensive experience and training working with clients that struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) / OSDD. Quite a large portion of my training has been centered on dissociative disorders. I predominantly work with clients with DID/OSDD who are high-functioning individuals. The “soul wounding” in clients with dissociation requires diving into the underworld of their consciousness (Kalsched, 2013), which requires a depth, analytical, and holistic approach.
